What does Judging Someone Look Like?

Vodcast Episode 1: What does judging someone look like?

Episode Notes:

Wrong Ways of Judgement:

1. Judging Only By Appearances

24 Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” John 7:24 (ESV)

2. Judging through Hypocrisy

2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:2–5 (ESV)

Bottom line: if God has already spoken on how we are directed to live this life through scripture, going to someone in love (that’s the key) and sharing this with them is only echoing what He has already said.

I’d love to hear from you. What’s are your thoughts on “judging” others? What’s been your experience?

  1. I have really learned some new things from a blog post. One more thing to I have observed is that in most cases, FSBO sellers will certainly reject a person. Remember, they might prefer never to use your expert services. But if a person maintain a gentle, professional partnership, offering help and staying in contact for around four to five weeks, you will usually be able to win a conversation. From there, a listing follows. Thanks a lot
